SIGGRAPH 2025 - Team Leader Edition

That's a wrap on SIGGRAPH 2025! 🍁🛸 I'm incredibly grateful to have gotten to work with an amazing group of Team Leaders welcoming over 350 Student Volunteers to the conference. It was a lot of hard work but I am so grateful for the lifelong bonds I made with the team.

I traveled to Vancouver with my close friends and CU Denver College of Arts & Media students/alumni Logan Schwartz, Channing Han, and Dane Nguyen. It was a blast sightseeing and learning together on such an unforgettable trip. 

For the past six months, I've been meeting with my 2025 WIA Surfacing & Look Development mentorship cohort. Thanks to SIGGRAPH, I got to meet my mentor Heather Brown and fellow mentee Tallee Jo Klewicki in person, as well as see both of them present at the conference. 

Some highlights of my conference experience included the Developing the Stylized World of The Wild Robot production session and the Birds of a Feather - Women in Technology talk. I'm excited to experiment and grow artistically and professionally with all I've learned this past week.

Beyond the conference, I discovered new developments at the Pixar Animation Studios RENDERMAN Art & Science Fair and the Adobe Substance 3D Substance Days event, and I got a peek behind the curtain at Walt Disney Animation Studios.
